DIVINE ENCOUNTER; A CLEAR MISSION

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

DIVINE ENCOUNTER

The Eternal father house of Divine mercy was established in 2006 in part of effort to care for the poorest of the poor.

These are Those for whom no one care, for whom there is no hope and who are unable to help themselves meet the basic needs of life.

It is a catholic non governmental organization. We our work is to complement the efforts of government and other non government organizations in this regards.

In the works of mercy. This work is one of the three Apostolate areas entrusted to and commissioned from above to Br Rosario.

The two other areas of apostolate are-

The formation of religious and volunteering group and the channeling the mercy of God to Those in spiritual bondage through counseling session and night vigils, AT EFHDM, the Brother and his volunteering and religious group are unpaid.

The volunteering group comprise selected men and women of every shade who have accepted to be part of the work of mercy b contributing their time and work as may be directed.

The religious consist of unmarried men who have shown interest in becoming a member of reverend brothers of the EFHDM as being called from above in dedication of their lives to God.

In very simple, dramatic, circumstances in 1986 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church Asogo, Oyo, The Lord Jesus appeared to me, a Mass server, while the mass was going on.I thought every other person saw him too, but later I realized I was the only one who saw Him.

I thought every other person saw him too, but later I realized I was the only one who saw Him. At that first encounter, He encouraged me to give up everything for His sake and I immediately agreed.

There was a burning desire to give up everything for sake of Jesus Christ.

Four years later at a Youth Programme in Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State in 1990. I saw the Blessed Mother Mary, for the first time.

I was struck by a strange illness as Medical Doctor detected a perforation in my lungs, October 1996, Miraculously, In July 1997, Mother Mary along with an angel appeared to me, touched the exact spot of the hole the perforation disappeared.

At the feast of Palm Sunday in 1999, Saint Maria Faustina of Divine Mercy appeared to me. She told me that the MISSION that God has for me is just beginning.

Mother Mary continued appearing to me almost on a daily basis and told me, to go and meet the need of the poor, the abandoned, the beggars, the sick, the Prisoners and those suffering.

God himself began this Ministry because we launched out with a token sum in 2006. We drew from personal individual effects and began visiting and feeding destitute, drug addicts, Prisoners, the needy at different locations in Ibadan.

Aware that the spiritual aspect remains the forte of Divine Mercy work, we go to the presence of Our Lord Jesus and Mother Mary at vigil of night prayer on the 6th of every month.
